Welcome to KONE
Kites Over New England is dedicated to sharing the joy and enthusiasm our members have for all areas of kiting. KONE is a kite club for kite flyers of all ages. The club has family-friendly events scheduled throughout the year all over New England. KONE is proud to have been chosen as the country’s number one kite club for 2018 by the American Kitefliers Association.
The club and its Web site provide a communications link between kite enthusiasts in our area and around the world. Our club is an affiliate of the American Kitefliers Association and is active in all areas of competitive and recreational kiting. KONE is a not for profit club. We hold our monthly club fly the first Saturday of each month at various locations throughout New England, and Indoor flies during the winter months.
Some members make and fly kites of their own design, others fly commercial kites. Whatever you fly KONE welcomes you to join us at kiting events throughout New England.

A brief meeting with updates from the treasurer, the membership chair, and a discussion of 2026 events. Reminder KONE $10.00 annual dues can be paid at the meeting. Checks and cards accepted.
An Auction featuring specially made kites, some old, some new. Some KONE-related memorabilia, and lots of fun. Please bring auction donations to the restaurant.
